The Jackson J-450 "D"-handle round point shovel with a smooth back has an exclusive armor "D"-grip that encases the wood completely to prevent twisting. Cannot come loose. Extended blade socket adds strength to handle/socket connection. High-grade 27" L northern ash handle for maximum strength. Smooth-back design prevents dirt and mud build-up. Double-tapered, forged blade edge for easy entry into soil. Round point, forward turned step with a solid shank. 7-1/2" x 12" blade.
